TK, grew up in Soweto as Tsakani Mhinga. Her father is Chief of the baTsonga tribe in Limpopo, making her tribal royalty. Mhinga was the eldest in her family. She won 3  SAMA awards during her life span for Best Composer, and best R&B Artist (Black Butterfly) 2004, Best R&B Album (Tsakani-Eject Yo'ASS) 2002, Best R&B Album (TKO)2001 and a Metro FM nomination (Best R&B Artist & Best Female Artist). On 27 February 2006, Mhinga was found dead by hotel staff, after she failed to answer their calls. It is suspected that she had a drug overdose. She died at the age of only 25,  and she had a son. This article was inspired by Power FM which was honouring her over the past weekend by playing her music. #Insight spoke to TK's fans because it been 10 years since she passed on. Andile Hamilton Khumalo is a young, handsome, full of life F.C Cape Town soccer star described by his fans. Khumalo was approached by the soccer team Amazulu in 2010 to be their striker and midfielder as he was doing his final year at the University of the North West in 2010, studying Sport Science. During the year of 2014 his contract with Amazulu expired and later in the same year he joined F.C Cape Town and is currently contracted with them. Khumalo is involved in project that uplift the youth in his community of Madadeni, a township situated in Newcastle. In 2011 he started the "Andile Khumalo Challenge", a soccer tournament that is now held annually to help and inspire kids and the youth to be in sport. He recently launched "The Andile Khumalo Foundation", it aims to also help the disadvantaged youth who are in sport in the area. Award winning journalist Gia Nicolaides addressed the Tshwane University of Technology journalism students on Friday. Speaking about her recently published book "Reporting from the front line" Untold stories from Marikana. In her address to the students, she goes back and relives her journey during the Marikana massacre that took place in August 2012. Nicolaides says that when she took on the story, she thought to herself it just another protest. Little did she know that it would make international headlines with 34 people gunned down. Nicolaides emphasizes that the mine workers were standing up for themselves, they didn't want to be affiliated with any Union (AMCU/NUMSA). "The mine workers didn't want to be interviewed by journalist especially female journalist, at one point one of the female journalist of E.NCA was threatened with rape but that didn't stop me  from getting the story" Nicolaides stresses that "you should be patient until you get
